Terms of Service

By creating a Grocerly account or using the Grocerly app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Grocerly. We may update these Terms; we will notify you in-app at least 14 days before material changes take effect.

Grocerly is a personal recipe library, meal planning, and grocery list service for individuals and small households. The service is provided as-is, with reasonable care, and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

• Recipe importing, organisation, and search
• Weekly meal planning calendar
• Auto-generated, aisle-sorted shopping lists
• Optional calorie and macro tracking
• Household sharing for up to six members

You must be at least 13 years of age to create a Grocerly account, and 16 in jurisdictions that require it (including the EU). You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity under your account.

• Households are limited to six members
• You must provide a valid email address

You retain all rights to recipes, photos, notes, and content you upload to Grocerly. By uploading, you grant Grocerly a limited license to store, display, and back up your content for the sole purpose of operating the service.

Imported recipes from third-party sources remain the intellectual property of their original authors. Grocerly stores them on your behalf for personal reference and does not redistribute them publicly.

Grocerly is free to use. The optional Pantry Plus tier is billed monthly or annually through the App Store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Refunds are governed by the App Store's standard policy.

You agree not to use Grocerly to:

• Infringe the intellectual property of others
• Upload illegal, harmful, or harassing content
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to other parties

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Calorie and macro information is estimated and should not be relied upon for medical purposes. Always consult a qualified professional for dietary or health advice. Grocerly is not responsible for the accuracy of recipes imported from third-party sources.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grocerly's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to Grocerly in the twelve months preceding the claim, or twenty US dollars, whichever is greater.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account, or via the Account Deletion page. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your data is erased within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, in accordance with EU consumer protection regulations. Disputes shall first be attempted to resolve amicably; unresolved disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands.
